Just Do It, Every Damn Day

You do your long run as part of your 10K or Marathon training while the rest of your family is still asleep.  Its pouring rain, but you hop on your bike to train for the Hilly Hundred.  Happy Hour is really tempting, but your horse needs a hack before the weekend jumping clinic.

What keeps you motivated?  How do you keep your eye on the goal when the going gets tough?  When you would really rather stay in bed?  When your horse tweaks a tendon and throws the entire season into question?

Is your sport your passion, your stress release, your quality “alone” time, your social hour?  Leave a comment, tell us how you get out of bed/off the couch/up from the table and get out the door!
